In 2019, we opened Dory's Mediterranean Goods, a Mediterranean Grill in Medford (in Ironstone Village), just 7 months before the pandemic hit. We thrived for over 3 years before life-changing challenges forced us to close that chapter. However, we were grateful for the opportunity to move forward and excited to bring the vision of Dory's Mediterranean Goods to life in the Village at Taunton Forge. What happened next was unexpected; we gained a deeper understanding of what our following loved and missed about the Grill, and within roughly six months, we outgrew our little shop space. This led to a hunt for the perfect location to bring back Dory's Restaurant, along with the significant challenge of how to fund another project.

We almost gave up. In fact, we did give up, and then just two days later, the space right next door became vacant. When we saw it, our first thoughts were that it was perfect - it felt like destiny! Our second thoughts made us question our sanity. This was a massive undertaking, especially considering everything we had been through. Like many, our priority is our family's happiness and health, along with providing healthy food choices. We are passionate about our community and eager to reintroduce Lebanese flavors and "Lebanese Hospitality...with a TWIST!" back to Medford. We shared our thoughts and feelings with every customer who visited during this time - thank you all! We laughed, cried, and navigated the ups and downs of making it all happen.

In December 2024, we proudly celebrated one year of Dory's Mediterranean Goods in the Village at Taunton Forge and began building out a beautiful 2,600 square foot space right next door to our original shop. In developing this project, we aimed to maximize the incredible space for our community. We even incorporated a special boutique bookshop, which we want guests to know is still a work-in-progress as we learn about bookshop life!
